A Favourite fromRiver Island
*Happy New Year to all of my amazing readers..I hope 2013 brings you some fabulous time*
- I guess Oxford Street was not really the place to be amidst the Christmas Sales, I needed an extremely well padded suit and a navigation system to muddle my way through the chaos.
On route to Trafalgar Square I found myself through the door of River Island,
potencially looking for a big old wooly jumper.
Instead, I left Dan somewhere near the door with a face of 'joy' and headed towards the sales shoes racks.
I found these little gems for £20 and having no idea how much they orginally were but asuming River Island played true to form I can guess they were a little on the pricey side.
There were a few colours to choose from in this style, a cream, a grey and this shade which I like to call
'UGG brown'
My favourite of the bunch.
As if by a touch of fate they also had a size six.
The boots are perfect for the daytime, throwing on with leggings or jeans and making a casual outfit more dressy so to speak.
They have a slight wedge to elevate all five foot three and a half of me up and make me feel super duper tall.
Inside they are lined with the classic faux sheepskin to keep your tooties cosy and are fastened with a rather funky looking button.
I managed to wear them for a good four hours, walking from one end of London to the other without any of the dreaded heel aches or pains.
I think I just had to kick them off after nearly five hours.
Which for heels, is good
and worn anywhere else but London, they would be fine.
What do you think?
- I hope you have a fantastic new years celebration, I know I certainly did but more on that to come later so watch this space
